En el inicio de la tercera fecha del torneo liguero, San José de Oruro se impuso 2-1 a Nacional Potosí en el estadio Jesús Bermúdez por el torneo Clausura.
El brasileño Marcelo Gomes abrió el marcador con un gol al filo del primer tiempo. El tanto del empate llegó por intermedio de Martín Galaín a los 25 del complemento en un encuentro de ida y vuelta.
El gol de la victoria lo anotó el goleador del Santo, Carlos Saucedo, quien a los 35 del segundo tiempo transformó en gol un tiro penal que el árbitro Juan Castro sancionó tras identificar que un defensa de Nacional despejó el balón con la mano. La decisión arbitral fue muy cuestionada al final del partido.
El Santo jugó su tercer partido y suma siete puntos gracias a sus dos triunfos como local y el empate conseguido frente a The Strongest, en La Paz.
En cambio, para Nacional fue su segundo encuentro tras una inicial victoria frente a Destroyers como visitante y un cotejo suspendido por la inasistencia de Blooming por razones de conexiones aéreas. El cotejo fue reprogramado. (24/07/2019)
