Oruro, 17 de agosto 2021 (RBT). Soldados de la Guarnición Militar de Oruro, rindieron homenaje a la Bandera previa jura a la Tricolor, en acto especial desarrollado hoy en el histórico Faro de Conchupata.
En la ceremonia fueron partícipes el Sr. Cnl. DAEN. Gregory Olmos Rejas, Comandante de la Segunda División del Ejército; Ing. Adhemar Wilcarani Morales, Alcalde Municipal de la ciudad de Oruro; Cnl. DESP. Limberth Oporto Mier, Comandante de la Policía Departamental; autoridades departamentales e invitados especiales.
La Autoridad Militar enalteció la ceremonia reflejando la importancia que tiene la bandera boliviana en nuestro país. Además, la parte histórica, cuando por primera vez fue izada la tricolor en el faro de Conchupata, durante la presidencia de Belzu.
Desde 1925, el día 17 de agosto se considera como el día de bandera y en la actualidad nuestra identidad está representada por tres franjas horizontales de igual anchura y dimensiones con los colores de rojo, amarillo y verde.
